我站在夢之屋的大門，凱西就在裡面，我想我必須知道我的夢代表什麼。
果然也我所期望的那樣，我見到了凱西。
Caithe：「Valiant. This is Malomedies, leader of the Cycle of Night. He is a firstborn, and has offered to speak with you about your Dream.」
（勇士。這位是馬洛梅迪，夜晚之環的領導人。他是初誕者，能在解讀你的夢境上提供不少意見。）
在眼前的是一個深色皮膚的樹人，看起來既睿智又莊嚴
我：「I would be honored, Firstborn. Can you help me understand what I have seen?」
（很榮幸見到你，初誕者。你能幫助我明白我看到的東西嗎？）
Malomedies；「It depends, young one. Tell me what you have seen.」
（那可能要視內容而定，孩子。告訴我你看到什麼。）
我：「I saw a glorious white stag standing in a forest, and I feared for its safrty.」
（我看到一隻壯麗的白鹿挺立在樹林中，並擔心他的安全）
Caithe：「When I was told a white stag had been seen in the Caledon Forest, I remembered the image from your dream. 」
（我曾在卡利登森林中看到一隻白鹿，我想我知道你看到什麼了。）
Caithe：「Such a thing cannot be a coincidence. In your dream, what happened to the stag?」
（不過這不能證明什麼。在你的夢中，鹿還發生了什麼事？）
我：「I...I don't know. I just knew that the animal was in danger,and I wanted to save it.」
（我...我不清楚。我只知道那動物正面臨危險，而我想去拯救他。）
Malomedies；「A white stag was seen near the Verdence. Stalk it. It holds a mystery, but beware：what is in the Dream is not what takes place in this world. 」
（一隻白色的鹿曾經在Verdebce附近被看見，去追蹤他。他是問題的關鍵，但請小心謹慎：夢境並不等於現實。）
Caithe：「True. What we see in the Dream often sends us places we did not intend to go. Be on your guard. 」
（他說的沒錯，事情的走向總不如我們在夢境所瞭解的那般。處處保持警戒）

經過一番的搜索，我發現了一些足跡，他們通往遠方並且十分凌亂。
隨著足跡越走越遠，我聽到不遠處傳來了微弱的呼救。我尋著聲音找到了一位躺在樹下，奄奄一息的sylvari。
正當我想上前去拉他一把時，他突然大吼：「注意你的背後！」
我轉過身的同時一把刀隨之砍來，那是一群不死族，我們被盯上了！
一場戰鬥不可避免。所幸，最終我們還是擊敗了他們。
我：「Be at ease. You'r safe now. Are you wounded?」
（放輕鬆。你現在是安全的。你被傷到了？）
Gavin：「I am-but I can't let that hinder me. I'm looking for a white stag. If I let it escape, the consequences will be...dire.」
（是的-不過我不會讓這些傷阻礙我。我正在尋找白鹿。如果我讓他跑了，那結果...會很糟）
我：「Then we have comething in common. I'm also looking for the stage. Have you seen it?」
（那我們是一樣的。我也正在尋找白鹿。你有看到他嗎？）
Gavin：「It was here, but it fled to the eastern woods before I could catch it-and the undead arrived.」
（他剛剛還在這裡的。不過在我抓住他之前，他就鑽進東邊的樹叢逃走了-然後不死者冒了出來。）
Gavin：「You have done me a good turn, and you seem strong and swift. If we hunt together, we might have more luck.」
（你還真幫了我一個大忙，而且你看起來既迅速又強大。如果我們一起行動，將會更成功。）
我：「I'd be glad to work with you. Let's begin our hunt at once. 」
（很高興能跟你一起共事。我們就一起行動吧。）
Gavin：「If we do not find it soon, the undead will-and they'll tear it apart. We must keep looking. We must.」
（如果我們不快點找到他，不死者將會...他們會撕碎他。我們必需繼續尋找。絕對！）
我：「You need to rest, Gavin. You were badly wounded. We'll keep going, but not to the point of risking your life.」
（蓋文，你需要休養。你已經受重傷了。我們會繼續找，不過不是用你的命！）
Gavin：「My life means nothing compared with find the stag. Still, you are right. I'm of little use to you like this. I shall seek healing, and meet you near Caer Verdant when my health has improved.」
（我的命對於找到鹿來說一點都不重要！但，你是對的，如你所見，現在這具虛弱的身體沒多大用處。好點後我會在Caer Verdant附近跟你會合。）
我；「That is the wisest course of action. The stag is a wild animal and a creature of the Dream. It will survive for a while on its own.」
（明智的決定。那隻鹿是野生動物而且是夢的起始。他能靠自己活過這段時間的。）
